Vivat® people are part of a bigger community
Vivat is a certified social enterprise accredited by XL Results Foundation, joining other like-minded organisations in this international program in donating 10% of our profits to charity. We are proud for our customers and stakeholders to know our business philosophy embraces more than commerce alone.
If you’ve had anything to do with us, you’ll know the Vivat® team is passionate about helping people get the most from their learning opportunities. So we’re excited about our participation in the Midday Meals program. The project aims to keep Indian children at school to continue their education, by taking away the devastating distraction of hunger. Midday meals feeds 125,000 children at school in Mumbai every day, often the only good meal they will get. The program’s long term goal is to improve education levels so these people can break out of the poverty cycle.
Participation in a Vivat Turning Learning Into Action® program doesn’t just benefit the individual learner or their organisation. During the 08/09 financial year for every person on a TLA program we supported a child through the Midday Meal program to help them keep learning as well.
We partnered with Buy1Give1 to make this happen. Through this arrangement, your commitment to learning had a direct and positive influence on making the world a better place. This years nominated cause is World Vision.
